LCCMR FUNDING SOURCES
The LCCMR makes funding recommendations to the legislature for appropriations from two sources:
- Minnesota's Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund (ENRTF) (M.S. 116P)
- Great Lakes Protection Account (GLPA) (M.S. 116 Q.02)
Note: Prior to July 1, 2003 what was then called the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCMR) also made funding recommendations from two other sources:
- 1963-2003: Minnesota Future Resources Fund (MFRF) (M.S. 116P.13). On July 1, 2003 this responsibility was repealed and the money was redirected to the General Fund.
- 1991-2003: Oil Overcharge (OOC) (Section 4.071, subdivision 2)
