| Norm Moody, of Hackensack, was the Cass County Land commissioner for the past 16+ years. He has experience working for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the University of Minnesota, and has held a number of resource management positions in Beltrami County. He earned a master of forestry degree and a bachelor of science in wildlife management degree from the University of Minnesota. A member of the Minnesota Prairie Chicken Society, Minnesota Sharptail Grouse Society, Ruffed Grouse Society, and Woodcock Minnesota. Norm has been an executive board member of the Deep Portage Foundation since 1994. He is appointed as a citizen member to a four-year term that expires January 7, 2013 and replaces John Hunt on the commission. Appointed by the Governor. |
