| Elizabeth Wilkens, of Mora, is a retired educator and township board member. She has a number of years of volunteer work with the Department of Natural Resources; including, instructing bowhunter and firearm safety, facilitating outdoor education programs for women, and serving on the state Fisheries Citizen Oversght Committee. She is a member fo the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's Citizen Stream Monitoring Program. Wilkens earned her bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Macalester College in St. Paul and her master of science degree in special education, and specialist degree in education administration from St. Cloud State University. She is appointed as a citizen member to fulfill a four-year term that expires January 4, 2010 and replaces David Hartwell on the commission. Appointed by the Governor. |
